probably not a popular opinion, but tbqh I think that one of the most damaging assumptions in our modern day discourse wrt rightwing terrorism is that we somehow fucked up the response to Ruby Ridge by going too hard when very clearly our response should've been much more severe & much quicker.
i want the next democratic president to promise a ruby ridge at least once a month
