The News: Now this question is completely without evidence, I want to be absolutely clear about that, no merit to it at all, in fact it’s even offensive to even mention it to you but Ms Rachel are you involved in the Jon Benet Ramsey case?

Ms Rachel: uh
Ms Rachel says The New York Times asked her if she’s funded by Hamas

Steph Curry is OUT vs the Pacers but will work out tonight and tomorrow morning before the Warriors hit the road for a six game trip. Kerr says he’s hopeful Steph is available vs OKC.

The last time the Warriors played the depleted Pacers, Indiana had Nesmith, Siakam, Q.Jackson, and Furphy available. Those guys are out tonight. Truly and sadly…no idea who’s left for the Pacers to play.

Fascinating read ⬇️
Before I was an NBA writer, I was a pro poker player for 12 years. I played against many pro athletes, including Ty Lue a few times.

Here's a snapshot of that period of my life, and thoughts on Lue's alleged connection to Chauncey Billups' private game:

Tyronn Lue's reputation inside the Las Vegas poker circles was a good one among us professional players.

Grossed out by the ESPN solitaire recruitment ads, but also trying not to cast the first stone either. It’s coming for all of us…figure out the threshold now for “I don’t like this, but whatever” and “absolutely not.”

Remarkable that rookie Will Richard, a DNP last night, is dominating the game vs the Kings with 25 points in 29 mins. Still time to play.

Sending some love again to the Pivot Fade app, my favorite app for hoops stats. Not an ad, I just like it!

Loving the Ahn Phoong law ad along the scorer’s table that reads “don’t ask Siri, ask Ahn.”

Kerr announces Steph will not play tomorrow in Sac. He’s sick. “He’s wiped out right now.”

Steph said in the second half it felt like his tank was on empty. And the sickness goes back to the road trip.

In just under five mins of work, Pat Spencer has 4 points, 3 assists, 2 rebs and a steal.

Spencer remains in after the time out…he may close the second quarter.

I love when Draymond checks out and Eric Housen is there to put on his warm up jacket like Dray’s the hardest working man in show business.

Jonathan Kuminga’s agent is in the house, watching Kuminga warm up.

Kuminga has had arguably the best start to the season of any Warrior.

A look at the Warriors’ three point shooting percentages. Jimmy’s on top, (9-18). Look where Steph is (30-78). Look where Buddy (9-32) and Hordford (5-17) are.

A friend told me that years ago the organization he worked for would talk publicly about funding crises by saying something like “we’re not broke, we’ve been robbed” to get people to think about how the government and elected officials impact the economy.
