This would be a nine zero ruling if the conservative justices actually believed what they wrote in citizens united and “compelled speech” cases but they don’t. Like other cons they believe free speech is when they can say what they want and when you can say what they want. bsky.app/profile/adam...

I think it’s probably a good time to remind people that the Republicans, and how much of the extremist right truly believe they are waging a war against America and pluralistic democracy. it’s not a culture war. They are at war against Society and democratic norms.
