Let's just say I wouldn't be putting a massive amount of money on this DOJ being able to get a conviction in a U.S. court.
Reading the Maduro “indictment” I’m suddenly reminded of WHY Gitmo existed and Obama didn’t shut it down.
It’s because you can’t KIDNAP people, based on “evidence” you violated rights to obtain, and bring them to trial in U.S. courts.

The administration is sending Lindsey Halligan in right now to secure an indictment.
Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Maybe he keeps posting about it because he's forgotten that he posted about it already. Did you ever think of that?
Trump again says his health is “PERFECT” and claims he “ACED” his third straight cognitive exam, a test given by doctors to detect signs of dementia

Let's Publish Op-Eds Purely on Merit.
This article advocates for the “Faculty Merit Act” that would — get this — require all faculty applicants to submit their *SAT* scores. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Holy shirts that’s hilarious.

Imagine if someone all the way back in 2023 told you that one day Indiana would stomp Alabama in the Rose Bowl.

Bergvall isn't fit, apparently. Deki and Madison are long-term hurt. Sarr is at AFCON. Simons is suspended. Not sure who else Spurs have to put in the center of midfield besides this trio.

Love the annual public domain posts on New Year's Day, but your mom has been public domain for decades.

Happy New Year, motherfuckers.

My mom knew (and maybe dated briefly) Zohran's dad when they were at Pitt in the 1960s. So congrats to my not-quite-brother on getting sworn in tonight.

An absolutely wonderful, versatile, powerful and powerfully funny actor who enlivened everything he was in, and a huge loss. I'm not going to say the word, but we're all thinking it in his honor. RIP Isiah Whitlock. deadline.com/2025/12/isia...

Apparently the refs didn't want to be on TV badly enough.
I'm not saying Puka should've shut the fuck up like 3 weeks ago but he should've shut the fuck up. And it's all on him. He started this shit for no good reason.

I am positive that we should raise taxes on billionaires. Does that count?
The perfect Yglesias post: declaring “billionaires are good, actually,” as if it was some bold, counterintuitive take.

The Assistant AG posting "You are hoes" at influencers is extremely funny to me.
Does it count as jawboning if an AAG is yelling at right wing propagandists, from her personal account, for criticizing the AG?

Everything with Miller is pundit's fallacy. If he didn't have walk-in privileges to the Oval Office he'd be a replacement level poster.
What if we kept pointing out that this weird and frightened guy doesn't know what he's talking about

President Ocasio-Cortez is going to have to make an example of a few of these companies in January 2029. Google is an excellent candidate.
Google is hosting a CBP app that uses facial recognition to identify immigrants, while simultaneously removing apps that report the location of ICE officials because Google sees ICE as a vulnerable group. “Big tech has made their choice.”
