Random small farmer in Aotearoa.
Interests may contain information technology, science, goats, animals and gardens. I don't make things technical - my garden fertiliser really needs weighing on milligram scales 🙃
Just trying the social media lark again ...

I humbly suggest, for everyone in Aotearoa New Zealand, when you wake up on Tuesday September 23rd ahead of other timezones in the world, Do Not Post. Just keep radio silence until about 11am when Australia realises they are still there.
What time zone does the rapture happen in? Is it simultaneous globally, or will it follow the time zones around the world?

Does the hell on earth stuff happen for the rest of us immediately, or is it a slow build? And if the latter, will it be slower than the current situation?
TikTok served me a video from someone who earnestly seems to believe the biblical rapture is happening on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

Checking hashtags, she’s not the only one. This shit always freaks me out. You never know what people will do when they think it’s the end.

Auror, the “we don’t do live facial recognition” company, rolling out live facial recognition across all of its sites in NZ.

Which is over 90% of big brand retail shops across the country 😑

👀 @jjw.wtf
With every story about private companies like Auror (in conjunction with US giant Axon) rolling out facial recognition in New Zealand, and police having access to the data without a warrant or production order, I’m left to conclude privacy is basically the Wild West.

Stage set for much more facial recognition in shops
Auror's number-plate recognition technology is currently under legal scrutiny in the Wellington Court of Appeal.

Surprised that's polling at almost 50/50, after headlines today you might think it would be at quite a low point.

Garden progress: Carrots have been planted.

... carrots have steel shields because carrots are soft people 😅

No really it's because it doesn't blow away and holds even the toughest weed down. Carrots always need the same rows and I love recycling the same weed mat for many years.

Today in the garden 🇳🇿🌱
#1 : love my patch of earth.

This pile is for pumpkins. Today we dug it up and added goat manure and composted chicken manure. Also dolomite lime, fine lime flour, dicalcium phosphate, and wood ash.
Although clumpy, it looks rich and yummy. I have high hopes.

“Prosperity gospel theology teaches that personal and financial wellbeing is the highest sign of God’s favour, and God’s favour is seen primarily through financial prosperity,”

When you think of that philosophy together with Luxon’s Bottom Feeder comments last year🤨
