These morons think a dead guy is the king of a modern day democratic republic.
Chip Roy: "The truth is the marxist, radicals, and Islamists the Democratic Party promoted this weekend, they cannot handle the truth. The truth is that there is a king and that king is Jesus. And the president has been willing to say it, & Charlie Kirk was willing to say it & he got killed for it."

REPORTER: What caused the breach between you and Epstein?

TRUMP: That's such old history. Very easy to explain, but I don't want to waste your time by explaining it. He did something that was inappropriate. He hired help and I said 'don't ever do that again.' I never went to the island.

These stolen funds include money for after-school programs.

Which means that by stealing these funds, Trump is also stealing from families and especially from mothers. Because they're the ones who will have to sacrifice to fill in the gaps if their kids don't have aftercare in the fall.
The Trump administration is currently holding hostage nearly $7B in federal funding for K-12 schools--funding that was supposed to be distributed yesterday.

They've stolen $80M from Wisconsin students and teachers alone. How much have they stolen from your state?

Democracies use government as an instrument for the common good. Using a tax bill to destroy and deny health care for 17 million of our people is a sign of authoritarianism.

This is an excellent & insightful thread on how we got to where we are (especially how Peter Thiel got to be who he is—read the whole thing):
We’re trying to survive an era bought and twisted by a handful of men my age, who were themselves shaped by 1970s and 80s South Africa.

Notably Peter Thiel and Elon Musk. (Also lesser figures like David Sacks, and Patrick Soon-Shiong, who controls the LA Times.)

Cardinals have updated their scheduled rotation for Atlanta. Now Fedde, Pallante, Mikolas — skipping Matz. We go in with Marmol shortly but it appears the shortages in the bullpen turned out to be too much to hold for a six-man.
