rewatched Gravity. the only other time I've seen it was in 3D at the cinema.. you can really tell from some shots that it was designed for that huh

one thing that really gets me about CGI in tv and movies now is that it could actually look perfectly fine but the artists handling this stuff are so frequently underpaid, overworked, put on bullshit schedules and often getting tons of revisions so it has to come out as crap anyway
