still a big fan of the first five games... I think it all being grid based means it's easier to read a room for the first time and have some idea of how to try navigating it. means the jumps can be harder due to execution instead of wasting time on "can I make this jump?" indecision

you should! play the first game first if you haven't already but I enjoyed both

between Peripeteia and Beyond Citadel its been a good year for indie shooters making me think about reloading. just adds that extra mechanical interest to every fight, whether it's forcing a rhythm of shoot then hide and cycle a round, or swapping to backup guns with a full mag when one runs dry
