Our little one is 2 1/2 for Christmas this year, it’s the first year she’s kind of aware of Santa and what’s going on.

I have to say paying the magic forward is a lot of work but tiptoeing around the house late on Christmas Eve laying out all the presents to make the day special is a great feeling

I swear to god if he does this just to ruin our Christmas and fill us with anxiety all over the festive season I’ll do everything in my power to end his political career and make sure he faces trial for the deaths he’s caused.
You just know Levy’s going to be bad, and he sees this as a great chance for him to ruin our Christmas.
Wes Streeting "hopes to report before the Christmas recess the work that's been undertaken by the Levy review"

Said in parliament today at approximately 13:59½.

Parliament recess begins after tomorrow (end of Thursday 18th December 2025).

I wanted to highlight this for my trans siblings, the social media and the media in general amplify all the worst anti trans voices, the general public are much more supportive of us than we realise,

Yes this is dropping compared to 10 years ago but it's not as bad as we ourselves fear.

A rare chance for people to tell an MP exactly how things are in Leeds, usually these things are all in London.
A group of trans-inclusive politicians discuss and answer questions about the state of the country for trans people.

In-person & online tickets available for this ACT! Politics event at Leeds Uni.

If Labour wanted to know why it is tanking electorally trans rights would be a great case study. Not because people vote on trans rights; most don't. But because everyone - both the JKRs who hate trans people and trans people and their allies - can sniff out Labour's position as insincere bullshit.

I guess it’s war you want then Mary, we beat Faulkner and her loons we’ll bet you, we won’t comply, we won’t accept a rollback of our rights.

Does anyone know what’s with all the Russia v UK WWW3 doom news stories atm, they’ve taken a noticeable uptick in recent days, given it’s highly unlikely Russia would attack the UK or Europe I figured we’re being distracted from something?
December 13, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Indeed if this were the other way around he’d be enjoying front page interviews in all the papers and doing a circuits of all the news rooms.
Have the BBC commented on the Ince business? Can't see anything. Would love to understand *exactly* which of his personal views they deemed incompatible with BBC standards. Or indeed with the Reform voters they're skewing towards, who will abolish the BBC anyway if they get in. Fucktastrophe, again.
December 13, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Remember the jokers that tried to tell you the BBC had a pro trans bias.
Which views the BBC considers unacceptably political in its presenters is particularly telling, isn't it?
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Streeting has already interfered by careful selection of “researchers” associated with a designated anti-trans hate group to carry out an unethical and pseudoscientific “trial” designed to get the result he wants.

🧵🧵🧵 When @rivkahbrown.bsky.social Published her story in Novara Media evidencing that Hilary Cass was already anti-trans before the Cass Review, I was intrigued by the fact that Cass hadn't tried to sue her or Novara. But if this report by @sophiemolly.co.uk is true, and she is advising on...

So they’re going to appeal the “victory” they had, this will rob further funds from the NHS and the patients it treats.

Notice the appropriation of the suffragette colours despite them also suing the Fawcett Society
Sandie Peggie’s lawyer confirms she will be appealing the “highly problematic” tribunal decision - Peggie herself says “I won’t be giving up the fight anytime soon”

People don't believe me when I tell them just how infiltrated health and equalities are in the govt and yet they literally proudly shout it from the rooftop.
At NO POINT are the people who manipulated the parachuting-in of ‘gender critical’ transphobes into the board of the EHRC **ever** going to be considered “on the right side of history”!

Transphobes always lose in the long/run!
Remember when Kemi Badenoch also boasted about hor the Tories packed the EHRC to stack policy-making institutions against trans people!? 😖

It sounds like a conspiracy theory, but it’s actually the malevolent scheming of a handful of bigots! 😩

This was a good episode, Shon was always going to be a good guest and Zack gives her plenty of time to talk, I hope he takes on her advice.

I hope non trans people listen and learn to this episode.

Sky News doing their best to distort reality and lobby government too.

I have to confess as a trans person it’s so scary to see near the entire media engaged in blatant lying and trying to form false narratives and not just behind opinion pieces.

We need regulation overhaul

HR departments countrywide need to start treating gendercrit employees as potentially hostile. As soon as you are required to interact with one, you dust off the rulebook, you dot every eye and cross every t, and you assume bad faith at every turn.

They are a threat to every organisation.

I’m angry about a lot of things but nothing makes me more angry at how much this frivolous lawfare is costing NHS Fife in time and money.

Money that should be going to patients treatments.
December 8, 2025 at 5:23 PM
"We put all these barriers to the safe route for these patients and they bypassed them!"

There's a history of this happening, all trans care has a far too high barrier to entry, people have been DIY'ing for decades.
What did you think would happen when you restricted access to care?

This wouldn’t be out of place in the onion, what on earth has happened to the UK where a Labour government wants to weaken protections against torture?

also ask yourself this will they only restrain themselves to other people or could it happen to you?
There is a reason that torture protections are the unlimited Human Right.

It’s always, unquestionably, evil.

There’s no balancing it.

Why would you seek to weaken that prohibition?6
