I like how people trust AI inherently and I don't trust the automatic sensors in public bathrooms. Just because I shifted a fraction of an inch doesn't mean flush. Frantically waving does mean turn on the sink/ dispense soap/ give me a paper towel.

A friend of mine was on Charlie Kirk's "watch list" of Black professors. She received so many death and rape threats that her university offered her a security detail for the walk to class.

I have written and deleted a lot of posts but I keep thinking about how the brutal assassination of Minnesota State senator Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark, and their beloved dog Gilbert in June did not prompt this same level of calls for empathy, sympathy, and flags at half-mast.

On the nature of Groyper behavior, a term I just learned, I see how it pervades the internet. I remember my brother and I discussing CS2 with my wife. Our literal pitch for her to play was, "you might hear an incel call you the N-word."
At the time, years ago, I thought this was standard.

But college is community. Most people are full of love and compassion. I wouldn't trade the human lessons I learned nor the lectures I had for anything, save of course, my family.
