Give the news cycle 5 minutes and we'll be there. The spin machine is hard at work blending fascist ultra nationalist theocracy and kleptocracy into a slurry to force feed us. I am so fucking done with this year, country, and admin.

And I am not saying humans didn't contribute, but there are more pressures than just humans. Compounding factors for sure, but we can't discredit the rapidly changing environment and just blame one predator in the environment. Albeit a predator with tool culture.

Linguistic diversity in the Americas would indicate some 20,000 or more years of cohabitation. I would say it was much more likely that the end of glaciation and the younger dryas impact caused a rapid shift in the environment that the native equus could not handle.

Oh I know, horses wander all over the place, I saw them on Veterans all the time. Bobcats and coyotes too. On a walk one night, I found a herd of horses in hidden valley. I backed off slowly and calmly because there were foals. Two weeks later the HOA carted them off.

I am against killing horses, but I will say unlike wolf populations and other animals, horses are a species brought over by Europeans during colonization.

Yes they did evolve here originally, but they died out well over 10k years ago. Their niche would have been filled

I honestly thought my knowledge of dorf was so niche. I have never met anyone out of my family unit that knew it.

I remember in college staying up for two days because of the first game. Haven't been that possessed by a game in such a long time... silly life getting in the way.
