I guess I’m just a person who likes to see how the rest of the people think. Nonprofit ED. Art is not a four letter word. I like cat memes, books, movies and things that make us feel and stuff.

Cannot emphasize this enough.

If you shop on Black Friday, shop only at small biz, minority owned biz, women owned biz, or support independent media.

Do not give Big Box Retailers your money! #WeAintBuyingIt

That sound you heard was every GOP elected official with a lick of sense absolutely SHITTING themselves thinking about the visual of Mark Kelly back in uniform before a military court as Whiskey Pete's handpicked chucklefucks try to railroad him on bogus charges.

It is to no end frustrating that I am working my ass off for 65k a year to save a small local arts org and I am 10x as competent as the man elected to run our nation but I’ve gotta beg for funding while billionaires by him a new building. This country is so fucking lost

Watching the pedo pres supporters line up to claim that anything released in the files will be manufactured and fake is making me
Physically ill. None of this would be happening if we just believed victims

@heinrich.senate.gov start the vote to remove Schumer. Be bold, do it for your constituents who are about to die because their healthcare is being stripped away.

During a meeting with our local county government, who we have a contract with to do a ton of services for very little money, we were asked “what do you think you all did wrong?” Meaning our financial issues are our fault. I sort of looked at them and said “the economy did this” and it was poo pooed

Running an arts nonprofit right now is fucking exhausting. How do we keep the artists from giving up when all of us are on the verge of collapse and the funding dried up in July? I just need a break.

Our local bookstore @samizdatbookstore.bsky.social is hosting Monday night supper club. It’s cheap or free if you can’t pay at all. This is why we need bookstores: they’re not just a shop, they’re a community space. There were over 20 people tonight. And we all sat together and talked and ate.

Telling moment: I was walking back from the rally, but a couple miles from it, carrying nothing but my gigantic American flag. An eight year old on his bike sees me with it and yells "No Kings!!" with absolute conviction.

My friends, they have lost the flag.

few ideas have damaged the average psyche more than ‘the customer is always right.’ it should be a little bit humiliating, being a customer. you should walk into any service transaction knowing that the other person, and not you, is in control over whether you get your treats

Everything you see around you? That’s why we should tax the ultra rich. Letting them accumulate all the wealth and power and now they’re ruining everything we love about our world.

Our nonprofit is struggling and I’m not above asking. Donate if you can. We support arts and and culture in Northern New Mexico and just wanna survive this shitty economy if we can. Money raised helps cover arts education and cultural programs year round. www.losalamosartscouncil.org/giving-page-...

most Americans don't know this because we don't teach about how other countries work but if the equivalent of the government shutdown happened in most parliamentary democracies it would automatically trigger new elections

I want more anger from the people in power against every single thing that this administration is attempting to do. I’m tired of civil. I’m tired of polite. I don’t want violence but my god I’d like some fucking spines.

Hosting writers is maybe my favorite thing we do at our nonprofit. I swear to god I’ll keep things going just to do more of this. Thanks @jessicaklagmann and @katiearnold for being with us tonight!
