If I was a tutoring company and I wanted to convince you that I could teach your kids maths, I would probably not have an advert that said “3=2” on it!

That’s just me though.

Trump clearly never had the wonderful illustrations of Alex Brychta in his reading books…

This is REAL and I love Brychta’s work—I read a LOT of children’s books with children and Biff, Kipper and Chip’s adventures with Floppy are superb! The pictures are wonderful, they make the books…

The state’s elimination of vaccine mandates is a courageous first step toward decluttering itself of any excess kids.

This 🧵 is long so please bear with me. It is compiles evidence in a historical timeline on how effective #COVIDVaccines are. When a pandemic ends we quickly and easily forget the tools that got us out of it. So here is my labour day gift to you prompted by this headline.

The Israeli government is depraved. It's deliberately starving and murdering children. The world, and Australia, must make a stronger stand with sanctions. The people of Australia demand it.

Seriously, I wouldn't be visiting the US at all with the current administration. Never had a desire to visit in the first place really, but this reinforces that feeling.

What a fucking disgrace. No wonder women are being murdered so frequently.

Might just be me, but the fact a huge section of our southern food region is at record low rainfall should be receiving a little more coverage.

It's the end of Autumn and dams throughout our area are still dry.

Years ago on some forum, somebody said that "if you're caught red-handed, you shouldn't even get a trial."

I replied, "okay, I just caught you red-handed stealing a purse. Off to prison with you."

He didn't understand my point. I suspect he never will.
If a non-citizen has no right to contest their removal because the government claims that they’re in a Venezuelan gang, what’s to stop the government from claiming that *we’re* in a Venezuelan gang?

That’s the most elementary reason why due process matters:

Bonus 133: Due Process and the Rule of Law
Too many Americans don't understand, at a basic level, *why* the Constitution requires due process when the government deprives anyone of their life, liberty, or property.

My dinner of chicken tacos will be sacrelicious. #RecoveringCatholic #LapsedCatholic #CatholicGuilt

March 1 is Disability Day of Mourning. A day to remember disabled people who were victims of filicide—sometimes referred to as altruistic or mercy killings by a society that too often valorises family who commit these crimes. We must never forget that disabled people's lives are valuable.
