I've been considering running for local office. I'm not sure what I'm doing but I can't be any worse at it than an empty chair or a rep that actively ignores their constituents, right?

I wrote my congresswoman, about voting against RFK.
She said if there were qualified people she'd vote for them, and she was looking for compromise.
I wrote her back, demanding she explain exactly how that's supposed to work when the Constitution and laws are being ignored.
She never responded.
