This is what I think about every time some GOP politician suddenly softens their psychotic, anti-human stance on a subject when it turns out their child is gay/trans/etc., or THEY suddenly develop insulin-dependent diabetes, or whatever.

So the House is going to vote TOMORROW on the DHS funding bill that includes funding for ICE.
There's a real chance we can get Dems to vote NO on any bill with ICE funding to sink it.

It is really important to stress that Congress shares a significant amount of responsibility for what is happening and what has been happening, long before this month
Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.

Thinking about how bsky has the most horrible setting turned on by default that says "i don't want to see any other languages except English" and if no one tells you to put it on "no selection" you straight up won't see posts from people set to different languages on your TL.
