Here's the Iron Age enclosure of Belsar’s Hill #Cambridgeshire, remodelled as a Norman fortress in the early 1070s, before being incorporated into a field system and overlain by a road

It's still impressive however, especially from the air 🤩

Signes Høj: A significant, beautiful and well-preserved mound, with a great location in Ringsted, Denmark. It lies on the edge of a moraine near Tuel Å, in an area rich with other well-preserved ancient monuments, making it a notable landmark in an open landscape. It is dated to the Bronze Age.

Scorhill stone circle is now the common name for Gidleigh or Steep Hill stone circle near the village of Gidleigh in the north east of Dartmoor. It dates to the Bronze Age and is 27 metres in diameter.eter. It has 23 standing and 11 recumbent stones. #StandingStoneSunday
