The question remains: will Mariners ownership and FO take the steps necessary next year? Because as cute as this year’s story was, it is not an offensive lineup built to truly compete. Getting Geno and Naylor was great, but that’s not going to cut it.

we lost because of a missed 44yd FG, an incredibly stupid Milroe play [nobody with a brain would have called that - he doesn't belong on the field yet], and a defense that couldn't tackle someone hopping on one leg

I‘m a Seahawks fan who was glad Pete left (as much of a bummer it was for the era to end). I was relieved when Geno moved on. But damn, I was rooting for their success with the Raiders. This is painful.
