So, are there any usable navigation apps left or have they all been enshittified? I tried using Waze today and it sent me into a traffic jam and then tried to send me down a closed street, then a nonexistent street. I tried using Google Maps and it ducked the audio and refused to return it to normal

PSA: Using the listen feature on Waze with YouTube Music on iOS currently permanently breaks YouTube Music. The app will crash instantly on launch until you reinstall the app, select a different account, then switch to your main account. Also be sure you disable YouTube Music integration in Waze

Insane how many websites refuse to show you a full article without registration. I'm not giving my personal data away so it can be sold to some random company that'll spam me 30 times a week just so I can read some shitty writeup. I'll just find somewhere that doesn't require that instead

Insane take. Children are not bots. They are humans in development, with their own thoughts and ideas and identities. You can't force a kid to be trans. The reality is that trans kids either know what being trans is and understand themselves or they don't and they're miserable but don't know why

Newsom is just genuinely a horrible person. He's both stupid and malicious. Also, most Californians despise him. I've not heard a single person express a positive opinion of him, either in SoCal or the Central Valley. Whenever his name comes up we just think of bulldozers at homeless camps
