The Scottish govt will vote Wed. on banning the US military from using publicly owned airports. US military flights have landed at Prestwick Airport more than 550 times since April.

The move comes after the US violated a January court order barring removal of oil tanker officers in Scottish waters.

I believe the proper term is Smoke & Mirrors.
"Half the country thinks—"

Stop right there. Some politicians, media figures, and influencers might, but they're nowhere close to half.

Good piece by @dennycarter.bsky.social about efforts to make TPUSA halftime, the Melania movie, etc appear popular so that people think America's evenly divided.
Wrote about the Turning Point USA Super Bowl halftime show and the Melania movie as the latest in a larger project to make the American right *seem* far more popular and culturally relevant than it actually is.

Replace Schumer or get used to this.
This is what ICE does every day. Hunt little kids who are here legally. They get sent to a place called the “baby jail” in Texas. Very little of it ends up on video like this. But it’s routine. And disgusting.

I was shocked to learn a couple years ago that a (Jewish?) U.S. Army Colonel who work(ed/works) in Intelligence is a Trump supporter.

Like, what are you guys f’ing doing?
Imagine if you told someone even 15 years ago that Republicans in the Department of Defense would be denying scholarships to military personnel going to MIT or John's Hopkins because they might learn something about racism or climate change.

The entire party is consumed by 4chan brain.

Hero when you need one.

Nothing embodies the spirit of America more than the First Amendment.
Proud to be part of the ACLU team opposing DHS attempts to harass and intimidate people exercising their First Amendment rights.
The ACLU (including my team) has filed multiple actions to block subpoenas sent by DHS to identify people speaking out against its abuses.

Today's NYT story shows that those cases are the tip of the iceberg: DHS has sent HUNDREDS of subpoenas to tech companies. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/13/t...

Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators.

Key facts about SAVE Act 2.0 you won't hear from GOP sponsors:

-"Show your papers" requirement far more restrictive than voter ID
-Voters would have to show documents in-person at election office, traveling up to 4.5 hours to do so
-States would be forced to hand over voter rolls to Kristi Noem
Breaking: House passes new version of SAVE Act, worst voter suppression bill considered by Congress. Could disenfranchise:

-21 million Americans w/out access to citizenship papers
-69 mil married women who took partner’s name
-21 mil w/out valid drivers license
