Once again, SCOTUS undermines the rule of law, its own legitimacy, and the lower federal courts with a 'back of the napkin' explanation that doesn't even bother to analyze the issue under the standards for staying an injunction—all to enable a bigoted attack on a targeted group.
NEW: On the shadow docket, the Supreme Court lets Trump resume misgendering trans Americans on their passports, claiming "the government is merely attesting to a historical fact without subjecting anyone to differential treatment." All three liberals dissent. www.documentcloud.org/documents/26...

The problem with NPR’s reporting on Gaza is that they’re willing to comply in advance with the lies that are acceptable to Israel-saying “the war is over” multiple times with no mention of the hundreds of Palestinians Israel has killed in violation of the recent ceasefire. #freepalestine

Now that the final 20 Israeli hostages are free, remember: those claiming violence “began on 10/7” want us to ignore that Israel was forced to free 2,000 Palestinians hostages—some 20 years w/o charge—& 8,000 remain.

If Hamas holding 20 is violence—& I agree it is—what is when Israel holds 8,000?🤔
