I tried watching All The Presidents Men tonight and turned it off ten minutes in because it was so unrealistic that anyone got caught doing anything remotely illegal, much less paid a political price for it.

Whole thread. We’re in an up-in-the-air moment now: one hand, Trump threatening civil war; other, ICE being turned back by civil disobedience. Moral: fascists don’t know yet how far they’re willing to go. My belief: more moments like this now will prevent the war that’s been threatened.
