I think another problem is that this belief can also lead you to reverse the logic. "I don't like this thing, so the creator must be a bad person," or, "I like this thing, so the creator must be a good person," are both pretty dangerous beliefs.

This does not mean you should shovel money into the pockets of bigots. That's obviously bad.

Bad people can make good art.

I always enjoy running into a game/book/movie/ tv show sideways, learning about something in a just absolute perpendicular way. My introduction to Game of Thrones was the TCG.
This is all to say that being spoiled on a twist in a game by a Slay the Spire Mod is an extremely on brand thing for me.
