This is something I always try to catch myself out of the pitfall on, trying and seeing how a thing plays or feels to watch myself rather than just rolling with the katamari of the world, it's tough but can find some things unexpected.

Also I just like the idea of the Katamari of The World now.

On everything else, everything goes. Color is so much less important on the art of a spell or creature because in 99% of instances that isn't a characteristic used. Recognizability for the character rather than the color

The Frame is doing a lot of lifting as well, so some Alts can be more variable

I think another problem is that this belief can also lead you to reverse the logic. "I don't like this thing, so the creator must be a bad person," or, "I like this thing, so the creator must be a good person," are both pretty dangerous beliefs.

Anyway, just to clarify, I'm just saying that you should be true to yourself. You don't need to lie to yourself about what you enjoyed, or put on a performative show of hating things you know you loved.

Life is complicated, messy & painful enough without short-circuiting your own internal wiring.

This does not mean you should shovel money into the pockets of bigots. That's obviously bad.

But knowing the artist is a bad person does not suddenly disrupt the timestream. What was once good does not magically become bad. You don't need to pretend you never enjoyed things, or performatively deny.
