I appreciate the problems of moderating at scale, because it’s impossible if you’re not willing to spend millions of dollars on moderators and their therapists

I sometimes genuinely do wish people could have the experience of seeing what gets reported and taken down so they could viscerally understand what an unmoderated space on the internet looks like, because however bad you can imagine it is, the reality is far worse.
