“.. In March 2022, Congress passed a law requiring that, within a year, a plaque be hung in the Capitol in honor of the hundreds of officers who put their bodies and lives on the line .. It still has not been installed.”

Donald Trump sat in the White House for three hours while the Capitol was being attacked on January 6, 2021. Never forget that.

Officer Daniel Hodges responded to the attack on the Capitol, where he was assaulted and beaten.

Today, Officer Hodges continues to serve the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department to defend our democracy. I am thankful for his service.

This plaque was made to honor law enforcement who heroically responded on January 6th.

It's nowhere to be found in the Capitol. Why?

Because Speaker Johnson & Republicans refuse to put it up.

They can try to rewrite history, but the American people know the truth.

Congress has the power and responsibility to authorize the use of military force and declare war. Congress has a duty of oversight. Congress must serve as a check, not a rubber stamp, to the President.

The fact that Maduro is a dictator who committed grave abuses does not suspend the Constitution.

Five years ago, we watched a violent mob try to overturn an election. We don’t honor democracy by forgetting that day. We honor it by defending the truth, strengthening institutions, and refusing to normalize political violence.

How quickly he changed from, “The President of Peace” to “Bomb Don”. Almost like he has a big domestic problem he’s trying to distract us from.

Trump started recruiting select violent extremists throughout America to attack the Capitol long before his target date of Jan. 6, 2021. He persuaded millionaire evangelical blogger Charlie Kirk to charter the busses that brought the select terrorists to the capitol. Trump watched them on TV...
.@PabloReports: What do you make of the White House blaming the police for what happened on January 6th?

Lieu: The White House’s statement is batshit crazy.

How many Samoan children died because Junior here visited Samoa and persuaded their parents NOT to vaccinate them? Just 83? How many more American children will this deadly liar kill with his obsessive delusions?

Trump demanded the registration rolls from every "blue state" governor in America his first term. The plan is to have loyal MAGAs in each State to make false complaints about Dems voting illegally. That immediately purges that name from active lists, and delays getting their legal voting rights...
For those who missed it, the federal government is trying to obtain the personal information of every person in the US to build a probably illegal set of voting rolls. Supposedly this is to root out undocumented people registered to vote. I am thinking it's as likely to be used to find Dem voters.

The whole “transgender for everyone” lie is so nonsensical. The only time I’ve heard of a school going behind parents wishes was when a Christian private school in my city baptized a bunch of kids without telling the parents. It made the news.

Pay attention, please, while we still have a democracy!
The United States is behaving like a rogue state. The President has carried out an illegal act of war, kidnapped a foreign head of state, and is now threatening military action against NATO allies. This is a constitutional crisis.

Impeachment must be on the table.

FIVE YEARS & he has not been held accountable for one of the most disgraceful events in this nation's history.
Trying to overturn a fair election in an attempted coup against his own government is the very definition of TREASON. We can never move forward until this is fully adjudicated. #ShameOnUS🇺🇸
