I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Ring also has partnerships (or pending) with two of the biggest police surveillance companies that are growing apps that merges dozens of data streams, Flock and Axon—how will search party show up in that partnership? Maybe not at all but it’s always a fluid and secretive situation!

Ring has been very very cooperative, even proactively helpful, to law enforcement (and getting more so by the day). We already know they have a form cops can fill out to get access to footage without warrant or permission in an “emergency” as determined by them. What will this mean for new features?

-Unclear opt-out procedures. Ring likes to make this stuff opt in by default which means, if you can, you’ll have to dig around in settings and turn off participation others other people will be having your camera doing AI recognition searches.

Update on chair yoga- I managed to finish the Down Dog challenge with a combo of chair yoga and meditation, but have been resting places I didn't know you could pull muscles for a week an a half. It's healing, but I definitely don't want to risk any legwork.
