in the early 2000s Rebecca took the time to chat over IRC with a teenaged and gender-confused Me on the practicalities of transition - in a time where being out as trans online was something that could get you socially ostracized. I owe her a lot for that and only hope I can pay it forward.
I think my personal fallout with Unity as an engine in 2023 was one of the most important things to ever happen for my dev journey because of how much more I adore Godot and the progress it's been making during this time. So happy to be on board now and looking forward to doing more in and for it.

The original Darkwood is forever very close to my heart and even though I'm sad this doesn't mean the revival of Acid Wizard I'm... honestly really excited to see Ice-Pick Lodge's take on this.

Today marks the first year since I started playing #FFXIV which just a few months in became one of my favourite narrative experiences not just in games, but media overall - letting me reconnect with old friends while making new ones, and also reigniting my love for art and music.

If there's anything the AI is doing for me is that the genAI content flooding my timelines makes me want to spend less time on social media as a whole.

Ah, CloverPit. For once I feel like I'm playing a number go up game for employed people. Might play around with some... more intriguing achievements, but otherwise I'm pretty satisfied ~10 hours in!

I think that as an indie game dev without a large publisher, your target audience is not gamers in general, it is sickos.
It's hardcore sickos that will be diving the depths of your genre and finding your game, and it is sickos who will be spreading it.
Please the passionate, not the masses.
