I once had a boss who was extreamly right wing and would openly spout bigoted views to people he barely knew because he thought they *must* think like him, and if they revealed they didn't, he would get pissed off and demand a justification.
Growing up in a deeply religious environment, I have a very strong aversion to people who attempt to moralize everything they like or dislike.
