Having to take everything off my walls (because I'm moving) really makes me value having stuff on your walls. It doesn't even have to be nice/fancy I literally printed out pictures I took on my phone/some show posters and it made things much better.

The story of Hanukkah is one of resilience and survival. Growing up it was my favorite Jewish holiday of mine because of the presents and spending time with my family. Today it continues to be my favorite Jewish Holiday because of those themes of survival.

On this day in 1979 humanity accomplished, what in my mind, is its greatest feat. We eliminated smallpox. What was once one of the great killers of humans no longer exists. It is proof that we can do great things when enough people work towards it. Soon other diseases may fall into the "was" column.
