I ended up installing the 90+ mod collection "Stardew Valley VERY Expanded," which adds a bunch of characters to SDV, new towns, a freaking fantasy skill tree, and an ungodly amount of other stuff. Now to plug in my Oscar Mayer gamepad and see if this is all worth it.
