The guiding light of Democratic politics going forward needs to be that MAGA can never be allowed to hold power ever again, and liberalism will have to be institutionally entrenched by any means necessary.
A vengeance-driven autocratic Trump returning to power exemplifies "you come at the king, you best not miss," but there is no reason why that can't also apply to vengefully, incessantly working to obliterate every essence of anti-democracy Trumpism and Trump sympathy from all American institutions.

News: Gang of Eight in Congress were only notified about Trump's Venezuela operation after it began, source familiar tells me. That means the heads of the Intelligence Committees in Senate and House were *not* consulted. Just crazy.

If this hasn't convinced a Democratic candidate for the presidency that on day one they can do *whatever* the hell they want to Trump, Miller, Rubio, Hegseth, RFKJr, and any other human garbage in this administration, then they shouldn't get a single vote in the primary.

At least in my experience, this has been because the writing for an evil path it's never about becoming a scheming mastermind or manipulator, it's just reduced to an asshole simulator. In the end, that's just not that fun.
I don't know why i always end up playing the Paragon/good side in RPGs, even though I sometimes plan to do the darker/bad choices

It's not that hard, when an account posts something either authentically dumb or so risible it could plausibly be engagement-bait, to mute the fool and move on. Bluesky is better without reenacting the Main Character routine every week.

It's pretty convenient to talk about politicians retreating (or not) into friendly bubbles without even feeling like you ought to address Fox News, or the drastic changes to the White House press pool.
