Indie writer. Creature of opinions. I write erotic romance focusing on fantasy races in an urban fantasy setting. Also, I tell jokes online.
I love how fucking casual this is. Like asking about titans is just Tuesday.

"I swallowed a lump of lust and nerves, pulled in a half-sniff; not a lot of people enjoyed the view when I opened both those wind-tunnels wide."

Rakos: Constantly on the lookout for other, suspicious, hikers. Unaware how suspicious it makes him look.
Amethyst: Lost in a nostalgic haze.
Charra: Climbing the tallest trees, going off trail.
Ruby: Looking for the best selfie spot.
Emera: Hating her disability for making this into torture.

Oh man, now I'm imagining the world's hardest-sell Cassandra situation: "No, no, the real calamities start when the Mayan stellar event and the Phoenician Rising of Leviathan *intersect*! What do you mean 'the same thing?' Pay attention, man!"

Also, I would watch the absolute shit out of a show about badass khukri-wielding Gurkha monster hunters.

The Belmont family from Castlevania are famously born without a fear of death.

It was memorably said of the Nepalese Gurkha that "If a man claims he does not fear to die, he's either lying or a Gurkha."

Therefore, I posit a common Belmont/Gurkha ancestor, possibly in the early iron age.

I hope your protagonists have historians, librarians, and a reeeeeaaally big corkboard on their side!

An 8 apocalypse pile up? Is this Buffy Season 12?!

No prophecies, no. At least not that most people believe: there's always some yahoo selling the end of the world, but nobody saw the Realm Wars coming, so folks are a hard sell on knowing the future.

Some magics can mimic psychic abilities, but they lack the innate, reflexive quality of "psionics."
#FebruaryWorldbuilders, good morning! Are prophecies or psychic abilities real in your world? How do they affect the world? Tomorrow I will ask about free will, so if you have prophecies, think about how that influences whether free will exists or not, and have an answer tomorrow๐Ÿ˜

The number Five is both an odd number and (due to its unique position in base-10) widely recognized as an even number.

Therefore, 5 is nonbinary.

Mortal magic requires at least two things: Focus and repetition.

Casting a spell means keep your Will locked in, while repeating an incantation or action, usually 16 times for maximum effect.

Potion: Stir 16 times after the last ingredient.
Spell: Repeat mantra 16 times.
Objects are exceptions.

They love travelling, the lot of them!
February 10, 2026 at 4:38 PM
Rakos: Here for hockey, the ski jump, and pasta.
Amethyst: Watches the figure skating from beginning to end.
Charra: Drifts from event to event, but likes the slalom, luge, bobsled, and skill jump.
Ruby: Also glued to figure skating.
Emera: Curling. Partly contrarianism, partly love of precision.
Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters

It's the Olympics right now, and all your characters are going!

What are they doing? Are they an athlete? Spectating? Which sport would they like to watch/do?

Or are they just enjoying the free trip to Italy?

How can you pass up Genre space opportunity, though?

Without, no success genre space!
February 9, 2026 at 7:56 PM
Rakos: No. Too easy to grab and rip.
Amethyst: Two small ear piercings. Used to be more.
Charra: Five piercings on each ear, along the bottom.
Ruby: Four piercings on each ear, two top, two bottom.
Emera: Four piercings on each ear, three bottom, one top.

Clerics, particularly of Death and the Scholar, are sometimes permitted to see the Realms beyond.

But true clerics are vanishing rare, with less than 10,000 in a world of billions.

Most folks just have to die to get anywhere but here.

One way trip, obviously.

Classic backcountry directions, really: Over the hill beyond the next lies the realm of the Skull Queen.

Hit the ocean and you've overshot.
