russia burned to the ground should be the condition, instead. Make it a wilderness sanctuary or something.
Lavrov stated that Zelensky, through his actions, is proving himself to be a Nazi, and there is no evidence to the contrary. He also added that the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine are mandatory conditions for ending the war.

In a demoralizing world it does warm the heart to see an eighty seven year-old lady repeatedly burn the world’s richest man to a crisp in a manner that clearly gets right under his skin and provokes him to flailing, compensatory exertions that only affirm the point she was making.

Because the media is complicit.
This entire article points out that there is no plan. His own Treasury Secretary says he doesn’t know anything about it. So why does media keep running these kind of headlines? He keeps making these Truth Social posts and media keeps running stories as if it is something real.

this may strike some as overly harsh, but I think anyone who voluntarily consumes "LinkedIn Learning" content on a flight should be julienned by a Hellfire R9X missile

Saddest part of working for 2 American companies is getting one making $3+ million/year profits and the other getting $15+ million in funding and American employees begging for “dental and vision” years later, still, during CEO AMAs.

(I had to explain to EU peeps what “dental and vision” are.)
We're an hour into a presentation about our parent company's healthcare plans.

The contract we're on only has access to one of them. What are we even doing here?

Poor whatever russian village will be picked as the test site. Ah well. 🤷‍♂️
Lavrov:

"If any of the nuclear powers conducts a nuclear weapons test - not tests of delivery systems or subcritical experiments, but an actual nuclear weapons test - then Russia will do the same."

Austrian governance, backed by 100%, hardcore, never-stop-never-stopping idiotism and corruption. It’s so god damn idiotic that even Austrians are getting disgusted by it — and that’s something I thought I’d never see.
The Wirtschaftskammer pushed the line of “Workers needs to make sacrifices, too!”, that argued against raising wages in 2025, and pushed it HARD all year.

It then gave their own employees an above-average 4,2% raise.

And _now_ acts like everyone else is being a nasty assclown about it.

The Austrian Chamber of Commerce (Wirtschaftskammer) was already a pretty useless organization, that every entrepreneur has to financially support, before. But what they did now*) has _got_ to be the most Austro-econ-science-y thing that happened in Austria in 2025.

*) Here’s their 2025 trick:

All those guns in America and they still have this government, and will have it for a couple years more, at least. 🫡
My wife and I pay for life insurance even though we have never died. I pay for fire insurance even though my house has never burned down. That's not because we want to throw money at insurance companies. It's because THAT'S HOW INSURANCE WORKS.

‼️ Russia: “Russian economic growth effectively stalled in early 2024, and since then—for about 20 months now—national GDP has remained roughly flat, according to calculations by the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences.”

Probably gonna take 1-2 more years (fingers crossed) and it will start being more acceptable to have a job at the Bundeswehr, too.

russia’s master gambit playing out beautifully, just in the wrong direction (for russia), with fewer russians wanting that army job now, too.
The Zeiten, they are wending.

66% say we relied too much on the US for our security.

This, 100%. No one disparages, downplays, viscerally loathes and undermines nearly every achievement of Finns like the Finnish far right.

And it seems to be the same elsewhere. The self-proclaimed “patriots” do little else than complain how rotten their country is, and how stupid its people.
I think there is an element of every far right movement that genuinely loathes its own country. That it is in Finnish hands promoting Finnish culture is something that revolts them because they are digusted by what Finland is compared to whatever nightmare of perpetual violence and misery they wish.

This applies to a lot of rich powerful people, who clearly cannot understand affection, love or joy, and just try to fill the black hole where their souls should be with infinite money, and it’s never ever going to be enough.

Good. Erase every russian so Ukraine can be free. 👍
On the 3rd anniversary of Kherson’s liberation, Zelensky vowed to reclaim every occupied town and village. He recalled the joy, tears, and gratitude when Ukrainian flags returned to the city in 2022.

“We haven’t forgotten Kherson, and we won’t forget any of our occupied lands,” he said.
