Deeply disappointed to hear that the BBC has pushed out one of the most brilliant presenters in all of science communication for speaking with integrity and honor in support of human rights and dignity.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

Friends and colleagues,

I was impacted by the Xbox layoffs back in July. I'm am starting my job search in earnest now. Feel free to contact me with any opportunities in game design leadership and creative direction. (Or any other game design opportunities. Can't be too picky these days.)

Some of the most remarkable lost artefacts from the ancient world were the titanic wrecks of the Nemi ships, built for a Roman emperor.

In their first-century heyday they held gardens, palaces and baths in a floating wonderland. But barely a decade after their recovery, they were lost forever.

Man, I know my outreach here is limited but I just got laid off at 2K after working on BioShock 4 for a year and a half. To say I'm gutted is a complete understatement.

If anyone is in need of a friendly, fast and heavily driven animator with a lot of games experience please do let me know :)

Lovely Day by Bill Withers.

The last minute and a half where he sings and sustains “dayyyyyy” should be considered sonic warfare.

But how about subsurface scattering the hard way? By rendering tiny diffuse particles (atoms?) to simulate the many internal bounces of the surface.
