Donald Trump destroyed public service broadcasting in the US - it's little surprise Nigel Farage wants to do the same thing here.

Trump’s America, don’t let it become Farage’s Britain.

Wow...Shabana Mahmood was very impressive this morning. Left that interview with Laura Kuenssberg in her pocket!

This is very good news. Can anybody even name theirs, which political party they represent and what they are supposed to do?

I thought not!

This does feel like key information tbh. Wonder why budding tyrant Donald Trump would want to muzzle a trusted independent news source 🤔
Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

Wow...old data but not much has changed. Let's see that factored into the BBC Royal Charter review!
You might have thought Question Time was biased.

But you never realised how much.

UKIP never even had a single MP.

Farage calls it bias, but what he fears is balance. The BBC must report with courage, question every side, and refuse to echo rage for ratings. Truth has to sound calm when the world shouts chaos.

Americans in Colorado have just explicitly voted to tax higher earners to fund school meals for all kids in the state. Imagine if democracy was as clear and functional as this in the UK...
This is how it looked on the ballot.

It’s clear to anyone paying attention that Farage gets an easy ride from the media. They give him as much airtime as he wants but never hold him to account for the damage he’s done.

So much of what’s broken in Britain is thanks to Nigel Farage.

Sophy Ridge recognises the danger to democracy of right wing politicians like Nigel Farage presenting their own shows on GB News because that avoids proper Qs & scrutiny.

So why doesn’t OFCOM, which repeatedly fails to act?

This one might have gone under the radar but it's more bad news for ReformUK and Labour.
Moseley (Birmingham) Council By-Election Result:

🔶 LDM: 34.7% (-11.9)
🌹 LAB: 24.4% (-14.1)
🙋 Ind: 19.6% (New)
🌍 GRN: 10.1% (+1.5)
➡️ RFM: 7.3% (New)
