Just to clear, T&S shut down posting the LLC address of Jesse Singal within like an hour and a half but they still haven’t fixed the DMs exploit that was letting people send graphic self harm pictures to trans folks after, what, weeks? Even after it was used on women Jesse pointed Twitter trolls at.

We shouldn’t accept that a CEO killer must get a national manhunt when cops don’t solve most murders at all. A migrant teenager was just murdered in NYC, cops just killed a guy here — the lives of these other people are worth just as much as that CEO.

I personally don’t celebrate gun wielding assassins in broad daylight under any circumstances.
That being said: United HealthCare absolutely did try to kill me by trying to cut my chemotherapy dosage and I had to get my senator to intervene and it was one of the most traumatic weeks of my life.

This. It feels often like trans women are made to answer for EVERYONE’S sins. This makes sense when we understand that trans women are treated as being in permanent debt—a position of owing much but being owed nothing.
What I have gathered from the liberal feminist discourse on gender and trans issues is that men are entirely blameless for upholding and reifying patriarchal society, because the blame seems to lie with trans women.

This isn't a culture war. This is the only trans congresswoman, ever being bullied through the press and legislation, and having only 1 of hundreds of colleagues stand up for her. They can do more than 1 thing at a time. Defending her will not take so much effort that they can't do their jobs.
Defending Sarah McBride is absolutely the right thing to do, and yet there’s also the risk of being baited into yet another culture war cycle that distracts from the Republican grift. Her statement suggests she wants to move forward, and I think it’s wise to take the cue from her.
