The Dodgers would be nothing and nobody without immigrants. They won this game - and this entire series - because of immigrants. In that sense, they represent the absolute best that this country has to offer.

Los Angeles suffered tremendously because of the wildfires. The president of the United States has wanted to make the immigrants who make the city suffer and declared war on the city. But all throughout it, L.A. makes it work daily. It’s a place where people go to make it. LA deserves this.

ER doc here! This is a lie. Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants

APHA, AAP, ACP, IDSA, SMFM, and the Mass. Public Health Alliance sue RFK Jr and HHS over Covid vaccine guidance. A pregnant woman is a plaintiff as well, which hopefully gives them standing.

This is Macarthur Park in Los Angeles. Republicans have turned the United States in a military police state. I could not even imagine what Fox and Republicans would be saying if Biden or Obama sent the US military to terrorize communities in Texas.

I remember what it was like before the ACA was enacted. So many people couldn’t get on Medicaid and so they couldn’t get what they needed. I could see patients for free but how could I get them their life saving meds? Those were bad times. Medicaid is good for families and for healthcare systems.
My daughter relies on Medicaid.
We don't "get" Medicaid.
We don't receive a check from Medicaid.
Medicaid covers her life-saving medical expenses.
Medicaid is health insurance.
Medicaid is health care.
That's what Medicaid is.
And that's why we need our senators to #VoteNo and #ProtectMedicaid.
