Chill baking today. Made pecan pie balls thanks to the recipe from @scrub64.bsky.social. Next up are almond thumbprints (the bf’s fav). Then probably whipped shortbread and lastly buckeyes from @stoutheartstudio.com recipe. Good bake day. Later on in the week I’ll make millionaire bars.

This is the first year of my life that I can recall where I’m not spending Christmas with family (other than my significant other). It feels weird but I just can’t bring myself to sit through a Christmas dinner with right wing lunacy. It’s been difficult to feel any holiday cheer.
