I have very strong opinions, but I can’t in good conscience vote in a zero-sum manner. It’s easy to lionize leaders who accomplish huge changes, but behind the scenes there are thousands of people fighting for incremental change.
I vote to support those people as much as I vote for the headliner.

I agree, 100%! But we also need to have our nervous systems intact in order to keep fighting the good fight. No silence. No approval. Rising up is the only option, and we must have the strength to do it. So we must take care of ourselves. This is a marathon, not a sprint.
