Trump has created, in his mind, the first failure-proof presidency, for when his policies fail he will invariably lie about them, creating an elaborate make-believe world where his policy decisions unfailingly lead to successful outcomes.

As far as we know, 200,000 people remain in El Fasher, and we have to assume that they are at risk of meeting the same fate as befell at least 7,000 of their fellows -- point-blank executions. 60,000 more have fled and remain unaccounted for. These too are at risk. The situation is urgent.

Now that the Sudanese army has retreated from the main base in El Fasher, RSF forces are rounding up thousands of blacks and shooting them in the head. I have seen some of the videos. It should never have come to this, and the international community needs to act before more lives are lost.

Hamas supposedly violating the ceasefire agreement (it hasn't, actually) by not finding all of the bodies of dead hostages fast enough has received far more media attention than Israel's continued killings and restriction of aid. This is what you call media complicity.
