It’s really pretty cool that one thing you can do to support people you like is ask your local library to get their book because it doesn’t cost you anything, it helps them, and the librarian gets to know someone actually wants to read a book and not just use the computer for Roblox

One week until Election Day! If you’re wondering what is at stake, here’s a story about a Nevada woman who was found guilty of manslaughter and sent to jail for having a miscarriage. www.washingtonpost.com/investigatio...
She said she had a miscarriage — then got arrested under an abortion law
The 1911 Nevada statute is one of a wide variety of laws that have been used in rare cases across the country to prosecute women for trying to end a pregnancy.

Vice President Kamala Harris will hold a rally Friday in Texas, a state she does not believe she will win but one where her campaign plans for her to begin making a closing argument to voters centered on abortion rights.

When Harris went on Call Her Daddy, Trump responded by trashing the host … who then doubled down with an episode highlighting GOP abortion restrictions.

Rogan has recently said he’d never have Trump on, so there’s a good chance Trump attacks him too, with similar blowback.
part of the value in going on rogan for harris is that trump probably can’t do it and it may be a disaster for him if he tries

I think Harris is going on Fox and Rogan because she is modeling what good leadership in a democracy should look like, where you are unafraid to speak to audiences of voters who might be unreceptive because that's your job, to be the President for the whole country. The contrast w/ Trump is glaring.

I can't speak for all American Jews, but for me at least, a presidential candidate saying there's Good Jews (ones who vote for him) and Bad Jews (ones who don't) and if he loses the election it was "rigged" and he'll blame Jews, is a lot more concerning than some college students denouncing Israel.
