took my new binoculars out for a spin in the woods today, and I saw a nuthatch! First time I've seen and identified one of those.
I'm also pretty sure I heard a parakeet! The little green sods have followed me from London 💚

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.
I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

I'm thinking about doing a tiny, daily art project next year. Like a daily doodle, with a theme (I know the theme already). There is a lot going on next year (writing books, getting married (!), learning to drive maybe) so this is probably madness, but I'm charging the iPad anyway...

We finished Split Fiction! Huge fun - I loved the anti-AI/pro-creativity message, the inventive gameplay, and being a farting pig (at one point you could draw with flowers & the inevitable happened)

If you use it in ANY part of your process, not only do you fuck over the environment, and fuck over your fellow artists, you are cheating yourself of everything that makes art worth doing.

Last repost - I kinda hate that I missed the days when authors were just mysterious b&w photos on the back flap of a dust jacket. We were enigmatic then, we could be strange but still glam. Video content is the devil.
