In 2023 I became obsessed with videos of dads in cargo shortswaiting in parking lots during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. So when she came to town, I grabbed a camera and headed down to talk to them. I thought it'd be funny. It turned out to be something else entirely.

You see, my dear alt-text readers, Yew wood was the preferred wood for longbows, prized for its strength and flexibility. So it would make sense that the bowmen might want yew for Christmas. This article by Hannah Barnes is very long, quite boring, but does reveal the tormentor-in-chief of GiDs realising that gender medicine isn't easy to research, and the answers weren't just lying there for 'proper' sciencists to find.
