I'm a Scot/husband/father/uncle/geek. I don't post often, but when I do it's pure gold.
Gutted for Kirsty Muir, finishing 4th there in the slopestyle, but she has done Scotland proud. What an amazing performance. #WinterOlympics

It really is completely pointless for Scottish football fans to watch Sky Sports Deadline Day coverage. You’d think the show was only broadcast to England. There’s a reason I’ll never subscribe to Sky Sports.

A Matter of Life and Death was just on BBC2. One of my all-time favourite movies. I’ll never tire of watching it. Jack Cardiff ‘s cinematography was genius. A beautiful film.

Gutted to hear Catherine O’Hara has passed. What a brilliant actor and comedian. Serial scene stealer who improved everything she was in. RIP.

Decent result last night, all things considered. Now we just have to hope the board get their collective finger out and deliver the new signings we so desperately need. Then we might have a chance, however small, of salvaging something from this debacle of a season.

Reo Hatate has long been a liability, particularly in Europe. If I had £1 for every ball he’s given away under no pressure, I’d be typing this on a much nicer phone.

Can’t see Celtic getting anything from this game, now. Done very well to last this long in front.

With massive thanks to all who voted/liked/shared her song….she won her semi-final! She’s through to the live final next month. I can’t express just how grateful I am to everyone who helped. This has given her a massive lift just when she needed it most. You’re all amazing!

Delighted to report that my wife is now cancer-free!

About time Nancy was gone, and glad to see Tisdale go too. We’ll hopefully start getting things sorted on the pitch now. A few signings desperately needed.

So, my wife entered a songwriting comp online back in Sept and she has reached the semi-final! She has written a new song for the semi, about her recent cancer diagnosis, and I’d really be grateful to anyone who gave it a like on Instagram…

Failure to sack Nancy now will be the greatest act of self-sabotage in football history.
January 3, 2026 at 2:29 PM
Celtic will be lucky to finish third if Nancy isn’t sacked immediately after this game.

Happy New Year, folks! 🎉

Wilfried Nancy is hopeless. He’s so utterly married to his one style of play that he is completely incapable of changing when the situation requires. There is no Plan B. We cannot afford to let him continue. Saturday is shaping up to be embarrassing.

Merry Christmas to most!

Listening to Celtic does nothing to improve my high blood pressure. But it certainly helps explain it.

You wait all day for a delivery and then it finally comes when you’re halfway through a shite.

What football-loving Scottish kid hasn’t dreamt of doing this for their country? Absolute stuff dreams.

Can’t believe it. Absolutely incredible. We’re going to the WORLD CUP!!!!! 🥲

I really hope the Hungary fans who were sat in front of me in Stuttgart at the Euros last year and made a point of laughing in my face when they scored a late winner, were at that game against Ireland. Karma’s a bitch.

The council changed the bin schedule and several folk in the neighbourhood clearly didn’t get the message and put out the wrong bins. Should be fun and games when they get home from work.

Imagine committing an horrific crime and your punishment is to be moved into a luxury private estate and forced to use a surname.

Unbelievable and unsavoury, what has come out of Celtic Park tonight. No doubt Brendan will fire off a statement in the morning contradicting Desmond and we’ll all be treated to a very public and unedifying spat. What a shambles this season is turning into.
