I really hope the Hungary fans who were sat in front of me in Stuttgart at the Euros last year and made a point of laughing in my face when they scored a late winner, were at that game against Ireland. Karma’s a bitch.

The council changed the bin schedule and several folk in the neighbourhood clearly didn’t get the message and put out the wrong bins. Should be fun and games when they get home from work.

Unbelievable and unsavoury, what has come out of Celtic Park tonight. No doubt Brendan will fire off a statement in the morning contradicting Desmond and we’ll all be treated to a very public and unedifying spat. What a shambles this season is turning into.

Just watched the John Candy documentary - I Like Me. Cannot recommend it enough. What a beautiful human being he was. A magnificent, underrated actor too. What a gift to be so universally loved.

National Album Day today, so I had planned to visit the record fair at Candleriggs, but a points failure on the trains has scuppered that. I’d been looking forward to it, as well. Gutted.

This robin has been keeping us entertained this afternoon. I filled up the feeder and it has claimed it, chasing off coal tits and blue tits and even a magpie. It keeps flying up to the window, hovering briefly, looking in at us, then flying away. The cats are going mental! 🤣

Greece got mugged tonight, but I’m not complaining. That referee is woeful, though. No doubt the SFA will offer him a job.

Celtic need a massive clear out next summer, if not sooner. Too many players are done and the manager is living on his reputation. A complete reset is required.

I’m starting to think Pat Bonner’s complete inability to pronounce surnames is some sort of psychological condition.
He’s had umpteen attempts at pronouncing ‘Tounekti’ today and has mangled it in a different way each time. I think my favourite was ‘Tookenicky’.

If I was given a deadline to get my work done, faffed about for weeks, then had to scramble manically to get it done on the last day, before handing in a sub-par piece of work, my boss would hand me my P45.
It must surely be the same for the people at Celtic responsible for recruitment.

The Celtic board are guilty of gross dereliction of duty. Our squad is nowhere near good enough. Everyone can see it. Crossing your fingers is not a realistic or sustainable strategy for a professional football club. If they don’t loosen the purse strings now, they should be sacked for incompetence
