While I didn't write, direct, or star in it... I did technically give the final sign-off on the video that birthed the 'GIRUGAMESH' meme.

Looked up the conversion of liquid shots to ounces as I forgot if it's 1.0 or 1.5 (it's 1.5, high mark) but I accidentally typed out: shots to onces

this seems specifically designed to break mail-in voting (where deadlines are defined by postmark)
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

One of the strange things about Schizotypal thinking is having two (or more) thoughts/beliefs that might even conflict with each other. Because of this I find myself using 'belief' as a clarification at the end of a statement.
Example: I feel/think/know X but I believe Y.

Oh hey, they removed functionality in the windows 11 start menu again. It now forces you to view all apps in a big list it seems. Really poor UX.

As a reddit mod, you'll notice that the automod oversteps it's boundaries with things that aren't technically rule breaking. But occasionally I feel that automod is giving me a little treat in blocking an obnoxious comment(or).

I feel a large twitch whenever someone says "But the person who coined the term..." That's just not how language works. You can't just slam a flag down, say you discovered something, and now you own it. We have a word for that kind of thinking too.

I had a call in the early hours this morning with my brother who lives in S. Korea. When multiple Starks get together, we get multiplicatively dangerous/loud/boisterous. I was loud enough on my side of the call to somehow wake up my wife up even with the noise canceling and the fan in our bedroom.

I feel like the odd use of K is such a shibboleth for 40k fans. Orcs don't belong in space but any reference to a Nekron is about the DC character.

When I was first going out on my own, I befriended a paired group of women who were not related but very much had a sister vibe. I dated one, but now miss and want to contact the other. Not for dating, but because I enjoyed our time together. Would it be the reverse if I dated the second?
