Donald Trump has claimed Vladimir Putin agreed to halt strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure for one week after he issued a personal appeal to the Russian leader due to the extreme cold in Ukraine.

This entire statement is laughable on it's face. We, and that should include Trump, have aces to play if desired. A major commitment to Ukraine, carrying a clear message to Putin that his land grab/old empire fantasies are DOA, should shut down Russia within 6 months at most.
Trump: "Russia wants to see Ukraine succeed. It sounds a little strange but President Putin was very generous in his feeling toward Ukraine succeeding, including supplying energy, electricity and other things at very low prices."
