Part of the corrosion on the right is that they can't conceive of normal community building things like organizing as something anyone would do naturally without power grabbing as a motivation.
These dudes need to go to therapy.

I'm sure it must have been on here, but my feed was so filled with other things (Adios, Bovino!) that i didn't see it. So as a pseduo-timeline cleanse: Where's everybody going?

The execution of Alex Pretti is playing so badly because you can look at his actions and life story - his last act was helping, boy scout, athlete, health care worker to veterans - and compare those to the men who killed him and know which you would want to be your son, brother, father, uncle.

You see, what has to happen here is that Pretti’s family HAS to sue Miller for $100 million for defamation of their son’s character.

They’d win hands down, Miller would be bankrupted, and a serious message would be sent to all the other liars and criminals in this administration.

Can't overpay for a house if you get outbid at the last minute by someone with (probably) a cash offer. Oh well.
"It's only money," I say to myself, as I talk myself into overpaying for a house.

Bernice King has it absolutely right. We are facing a moral crisis in this country. And we must all act together to end it.

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

Prosecute ICE is where Dems should be at next.

All of this is fucking senseless. Minnesota did not have an immigration problem. Trump sent his Nazi thugs here because he's racist against Somali people and to own libs like Tim Walz. Now two Minnesotans are dead and Minneapolis is on the verge of going up in flames. None. Of. This. Was. Necessary.

I'm as sick of seeing "the Epstein files" as anybody else on my BlueSky feed, but it is crazy how the Justice Department is just ignoring the law with seemingly no ability for congress to step in.

Makes you wonder which congressmen are in the files. The rot goes deep i would imagine.
