I guess this package was a little too heavy for the Amazon delivery person, so they left it at the end of our walkway rather than bringing to the door. And they left a little note. (They even submitted the delivery picture through Amazon with the note showing.)

Mamdani and his team are really good at this. These succeed in showing Mamdani's passion, hope, and his respect for NYC. Most impressive to me is when I see one of these on my feed, I immediately think, "Yes, I can't wait to watch a 2-and-a-half minute video on this platform." That's a triumph.
UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 3: Earl Manigault

When he stepped onto the court, the world watched. No one dunked harder or jumped higher. But the GOAT never made it pro.

There are countless NYC stories like his. Brilliant talents lost to drugs or crime. It doesn’t have to be this way.

My site/app of choice these days for tracking whether bands I like are on tour is BandsInTown. Today it prompted me to connect to Apple Music to give me the option of following my favorite and most listened-to artists. What a mistake.

Look, the Colbert decision is clearly political, but I haven't seen any evidence to say that Fallon isn't involved, too.

@gruber.foo In response to your question about apps linking out, I think Supercell and Niantic are doing this? Not sure if there are links, but they’re definitely offering in-game bonuses if you make game purchases on the web vs. in-app. Same price for same items, but a point-based bonus system.

Me: Hey, Walgreens, can I get my refill?
Walgreens: Sure, but you’re like 32 minutes too early for this refill, so that’ll be, like, a million dollars.
M: I’ll wait, thanks.
W: Oh, hey! Time for your refill!
Me: LFG
W: Oh, shit, we don’t have any.
M: Why did you ask me if I wanted it?

"I would rather all of my children be dead than entertain the slightest chance of them being anywhere on the autism spectrum" is a hell of a way to announce to the world just how ignorant you are about autism, preventable diseases, vaccines, children, and parenting.
Father of Daisy, the second girl to die from measles in Texas, tells Kennedy-founded anti-vaccine group, Children's Health Defense, that he doesn't regret not getting her vaccinated, and won't vaccinate any future children. CHD turns it into propaganda.

A colleague at my former job told me the automated tests for the geolocation project we worked on started failing. The test takes coordinates, asks Google for the address based on the coordinates, and compares the results of that to what we expect the answer to be. 1/2
