When I ask @duckworth.senate.gov what she’s going to do about it, it isn’t a taunt. I sincerely want to know what she can and will do to stop this madman. I’m not a constitutional scholar, I’m not even sure what a senator can do to stop Trump’s illegal military actions.

My kid's therapist gave us some important advice for managing his anxious thoughts. Specifically, to *not* address it in the moment, but to wait until the end of the day to see if he was still panicking about it. Because voicing every intrusive thought about how bad things are going to go is bad.

For the record, had I been elected to congress back in 2022 you would not have to call my office to let me know that kidnapping another head of state and bombing their country unprovoked is a crime.
