Oh my god LMAO he gave him a pat on the arm he’s absolutely fucking in love with this man. “It’s easier then explaining, I don’t mind”

Is Mamdani the greatest politician in American history?

In his acceptance speech he told Trump he was gonna destroy everything about NYC that made him exist!
Reporter: Are you affirming that you think the president is a fascist?

Mamdani: I've spoken about --

Trump: Just say yes, it's easier than explaining.

I took on two new clients this week after letting so many fall away because My head hasn’t been letting me work the way I once did. I’m terrified of failing, but I’m so excited for the opportunity to succeed.

While I was working tonight, I was searching for a link and stumbled across the comments for a piece I wrote nearly a decade ago. I still felt like my writing mattered back then.

Maybe I can feel that way once again.

Oh my.

James Talarico is incredibly skilled in dismantling Christian Nationalists.

Get this man in the Senate.

Hate them for what they did to those poor girls. Damn them with the proof.

Watching HBO’s Task. If there’s ever a Columbo reboot and @markruffalo.bsky.social isn’t cast in the lead, no one is paying attention to anything.

I’ve been awake for 27 hours, in an effort to reset my sleep schedule. I’m at the point of exhaustion where any mark on the wall is, my brain tells me, a big, black, hairy spider.

Re-watching Da Vinci's Inquest. God, the dialog on this series. It captured the idiosyncratic ticks of Canadian speech so frigging well. It’s a damn masterclass in dramatic TV writing. The actors deserve just as much credit for bringing the scribbling to believable life.

Gorgeous and terrifying. It reminds me of the supercell storms I used to see while living in Alberta. You could see them rolling in for an hour before they’d hit.
Incredible storm in General Villegas, Buenos Aires province earlier today.

PS I’m not turning into a weather channel, but some things are incredible.

28min 5k in the rain, so I'll take it. I hate that I run regularly now.

Our friend who was kidnapped by ICE is being processed for deportation as I type this. His lawyer quit during the shutdown and he was left to face a phoned-in "hearing" alone. His asylum case was summarily dismissed and he will be gone by Monday.

You know, you can just build a guillotine. No one can stop you. Some lumber, rope and steel is all you need. Home Depot will sort you out. It’s just for educational purposes.

Something to help the working class get a head.

It’s more what the people aren’t doing that’s the problem.
I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here
